The Tyrolean noble is a special chocolate from the milk of Tyrol gray cattle. The Tyrolean gray cattle spend their summer holidays on the steep slopes of the panoramic mountain Venet.
Native farmers have rediscovered their love for the old resilient race; the animals are still frugal and good climbers. Chocolatier Hansjörg Haag has lifted the noble milk in the gourmet heaven with a fine sense. He enriches his creations exclusively with regional ingredients, such as cranberries, brandy or mountain mint from the Venet.
After the ascent with the Venetbahn (ticket not included) you go on the Venet circular walk through blooming alpine meadows, in the middle of the magnificent mountain panorama to the Gogles Alm. The host Joachim invites you to a milk tasting of the Tyrol gray cattle and in a short film you learn everything worth knowing about the processing this milk. After a little refreshment, the hike takes a detour to the Piller Moor to the Kaunergrat Nature Park House. If time permits, you will be taken to the Nature Park House. After the transfer with the nature park bus (with the TWC free of charge) to Landeck the noble chocolate is tasted in the confectionery Haag. For guests who do not want to take part in this hike, there is the possibility to participate only in the tasting (about 16:45 clock) in the bakery Haag - but only if the culinary route also takes place.
