The 1,558 meter high Piller already inspires when you approach it, regardless of whether you are heading for it via Fliess or Kaunerberg. A short break should definitely be planned for the Skywalk from the Gachenblick. Then it's already fun in the direction of Ötz, which is approached via the hidden road to Sautens. The next destination is Timmelsjoch, the Austrian-Italian border crossing at 2,474 meters above sea level. The motorcycle museum there, which burned out completely in January 2021, is currently being rebuilt. The gastronomy is already open again and convinces with an ingenious motorcycle ambience.
Arrived in Italy, after paying the toll, after the descent from the Passo Del Rombo with the Jaufen Pass, the next mountain test is already waiting. Inviting Vipiteno offers a South Tyrolean atmosphere with an old town look for a cappuccino break. Relaxed, but by no means boring, the old Brenner road then guides you back to Austria and the Kühtaisattel is the final pass of this beautiful tour. Here the Dorfstadl is recommended for a snack.
