Tobadill - Zirmegg - Thialkopf

The Flathalm, very popular with families hiking destination, invites you to linger and recharge your batteries for the last climb to Zirmegg. The fascinating spot on the Zirmegg and the unique view is worth the effort. With good visibility you can even see the Zugspitze!

Starting from the church in Tobadill you walk first on the road east towards the district Ruetzen, but branches off immediately after the bridge over the Flatbach right and follows the forest road until you reach the Flathalm (1.687m) after 2 hours walking.
From the Flathalm hike on a marked trail in about 1 hour to the chapel on the Zirmegg (2.073m). For the somewhat strenuous ascent you will be rewarded here with a fascinating view.

From the Zirmegg Chapel you can walk along the NW ridge, in about 1 hour on the Thialkopf (2.398m).

The Flathalm is at 1.687m above sea level and can be reached from Tobadill via a forest path. The Alm is managed in summer and invites you to rest.

The Zirmegg Chapel is located on the trail to Thialkopf (trail no. 18 or 20,19). From there there is a magnificent view of the basin of Landeck / Zams and in good visibility you can even see the Zugspitze.
