The natural swimming pond is located in the Trams recreational area on a hill between Landeck and Zams. It is surrounded by shady trees. The expansive meadows around the pond offer plenty of space for a variety of activities.
The name ‘Trams’ refers not only to the current recreational area, but also to the
mountain meadows on the north-western slope of the Krahberg. The clear water, the green surroundings and the view of the mountain landscape make the Tramser Weiher a popular spot for walking, relaxing and enjoying nature. In summer in particular, the pond serves as an idyllic retreat, whilst in winter it is characterised by snow and tranquillity.
