Grins - Stanz- Schrofenstein ruins

Start and destination of the hike is the football pitch in Grins. From there, continue in the same direction on the left past the sports field, always orientate yourself at "Stanz" and take the path at the chapel, which leads directly along the fortification wall of stones in the sunny meadows practically just east to Stanz.
Through Stanz, the path leads slightly uphill and without changing direction until just before the parish church. There it goes left up to the Schrofenstein ruins. 
From the ruins, the same path leads through the pine forest back to Stanz until the fork "Waldweg", which gently pulls up. Then you go along the "Waalweg" or "Höhenweg Stanzer Waal", which runs almost flat to Grins.

The hike runs in sections along the Roman military road Via Claudia Augusta and along the Jakobsweg. Family-friendly gourmet or cultural hike on the sunny plateau northwest or north via Landeck.
