Bayern round

Cross-border tour along the northern Alps to Bavaria and back again. A long tour with many scenic highlights.

From Landeck, head towards Innsbruck until you reach Zams. There you turn into the Inn Cycle Path and follow this up to Imst. Via the Fernpass (maximum 6% gradient) the route leads to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and then on to Mittenwald. Back in Austria you drive via Leutasch and Buchen to the Inn Valley. There you follow the main road to Imst and cycle again on the Inn Cycle Path back to Landeck.
ATTENTION: Inform yourself about current barriers at the Fernapass. It is generally advisable to cross the Fern Pass to Fernstein, for example, by bus , as the road is very narrow and dangerous by trucks.
