From Neuer Zoll, the route leads up via Niedergallmigg along a forest path. A detour leads to the Ochsenalm (not serviced, approx. 2.5 km there and back). The way back is via Hochgallmigg down to the main road and along this back to Neuer Zoll.
From Neuer Zoll, the trail leads up to the Niedergallmigg sports ground. There you turn left onto the forest path, which climbs steadily up to the crossing of the Urgbach stream, the highest point of the loop. From there, the forest path leads to just before Hochgallmigg. Follow the tarmac road past the parish church and down towards Urgen. Before the bridge, keep right towards the primary school, cross the Inn over the old wooden bridge and follow the Inn cycle path back to the starting point.
