From the centre of Grins, the route climbs steadily up to the Grinner ski hut.

The route starts at the Grins municipal office, directly after the Roman bridge. Initially, the route follows the tarmac road in bends through the village and later through the hamlets of Gmar and Grist. Keep right at the next junction and follow the route, which winds its way uphill in hairpin bends. The forest road begins at the 3rd hairpin bend and continues to the turn-off to the Grinner ski hut. The last section to the finish is signposted as a pushing route.
