Luftalb-trail Grins

A myth tells of the 4 elements - fire, water, earth and air - which are embodied by the 4 Albigen (natural elves) and their influence on the forces of nature. Paths around the idyllic village of Grins were dedicated to the 4 Albigen.

Starting at the sports complex in Grins you hike along the road towards the village center. After about 750 m you reach the Roman bridge and after another 100 m the municipal office. About 70 m after you pass the municipal office, turn to the St. Josef residential and nursing home and follow the road to the fork at the ancient chestnut tree. Here you turn right and take the gravel path to the Luftalb (approximately 250 m). The village road will take you back to the starting point, past the restaurant Maultasch.
