Martina (CH) - Landeck

Directly from the Swiss border, the Tyrolean Inn Cycle Path R3 leads through lush meadows to the village of Pfunds, which has a Mediterranean-like appearance due to its particularly narrow streets. The route is mostly near the river. The rock faces and mountainsides rise to the left and right. The bike path itself is a bit hilly and steadily sloping slightly. The route is easy to manage with children aged 8 and over.
The parish churches and chapels in Pfunds, Tösens and Prutz as well as the Siegmundsied Castle, towering majestically above the town of Ried, bear witness to the nobility and jurisdiction and the area is called "Ober Gricht". The lively district town of Landeck is ideal for a stroll or a cultural excursion to Landeck Castle or the Schrofenstein ruins.
In Landeck, inexpensive multi-day parking spaces are available. Leisure cyclists can travel car-free with the ÖBB to Landeck train station and from here ride the R3 Inn cycle path in both directions.
