Day 1: A gravelled road leads up the slope to the Alfutzalm.
Alternative: it is also possible to get here by car!
First a cart track leads into the valley to a bench at a fork in the path. A path leads in steeper terrain in serpentines through mountain pines up to the Steinseehütte. Walking time: 03:30 hours
Day 2: Now begins the challenging high-level trail to the Württemberger Haus (identical to the Adlerweg). A gentle ascent up to the Steinkarscharte and over grassy slopes and scree before the trail climbs more steeply through rocks and then gravel to the Roßkarscharte. After the saddle, the route descends steeply in a narrow rocky gully (ropes), later descending on scree in the slightly wider cirque. Finally, the route leads steeply upwards to the Gebäudjoch. The route continues steeply downhill on an unsecured path, over grassy slopes and finally in serpentines to the Württemberger Haus. Walking time: 04:00 hours
Day 3: From the Württemberger Haus you hike on the path over a terrain step, past the Medriolhütte and downhill (scree, grass, mountain pines). Pass the Jaghütte and the Oberlochalm into the Zammer Loch, which resembles a ravine. The route continues high above the valley floor on the slope, steeply downhill in places, repeatedly crossing ditches (exposed terrain, take particular care!) until you reach the valley. Walking time: 04:30 hours
IMPORTANT: Reservation of sleeping places in the huts required before the start of the tour.
