Fließ - Kaunergrat Nature Park House

From Fließ up to the Kaunergrat Nature Park House where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Inn Valley.

From the village centre in Fliess, you hike to Gasthof Traube and from there along a well-signposted path up to the Kaunergrat Nature Park House. There you are rewarded for the ascent with a magnificent view of the Inntal valley, a museum with information about the nature park region and a restaurant. The return journey is either on the nature park bus or along the same route back to Fliess.

The archaeological museum in Fliess contains finds (weapons, jewelery, coins, ...) from the prehistoric burnt-offering site at the Gachen Blick as well as a Bronze Age treasure trove from Moosbruckschrofen and the Hallstatt-era Bronzehort of Fließ.

Kultur: Documentation Center VCA

The Documentation Center Via Claudia Augusta documents the Roman Kaiserstraße. In the display cases, finds from the Via Claudia Augusta and a copy of the Tabula Peutingeriana, the only surviving Roman road map, can be admired.
