Piller Moor

Easy walk in a varied landscape and on footbridges through the moor.

The hike starts at the Piller Moor car park or at the bus stop “Naturparkbus“. Along the circular hiking trail, the formation of bogs, the bog vegetation and the peat mining are described on boards. From the moor tower you have an impressive view of the Latschen-Hochmoor. This area is very fascinating for visitors - it gives an insight into the slow emergence of these fascinating and rare habitats.

TIP:
A visit to the nature park house and the museum offers insights into the world of eternal ice and the impressive landscape in and around the nature park house.
