Genussberg Venet - Holiday in the holidayregion TirolWest

In the mountain summer of 2024, the local mountain Venet offers a diverse nature experience that will make the hearts of all hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers beat faster. Although the Venet mountain lifts have closed their summer operations for this season, a hiking paradise opens up on the Venet that leaves nothing to be desired.

The Venet hiking area serves as an ideal starting point for a variety of tours - from demanding high-altitude trails that challenge the stamina of even the most experienced hikers, to leisurely strolls on easy forest and circular hiking trails. The Venet, often affectionately referred to as the "pleasure mountain", is your gateway to the Kaunergrat Nature Park. This protected area impresses with its unique flora and fauna, which is just waiting to be discovered by you.
Along the hiking trails, the Zammer Alm, Gogles Alm, Zammer Skihütte, Jagerhütte, Meranz Alm and Venet Alm invite you to savour the local delicacies while enjoying one of the most impressive mountain panoramas in Tyrol.
A special highlight of your hike will certainly be the ascent to the Krahberg at 2,212 metres above sea level. As the most famous vantage point in the West Tyrolean mountains, the Krahberg in the Venet massif offers an unforgettable panoramic view that will stay in your memory. From here, you can admire the expansive Alpine panorama in all its splendour and experience a moment of peace and contentment that can only be found in nature.

A little tip: If you would like to combine hiking with cycling, the Zammer Alm and Gogles Alm are ideal for parking your bikes and as a starting point for the ascent to the summit.
