Stams pin

On the way to Innsbruck, about 40 km from Landeck, there is the Cistercian Abbey of Stams, founded in 1273 by Meinhard II. Today you will find here a museum, a monastery shop, a distillery and the Orangerie.

Particular emphasis is placed in the Stams Monastery on the education of adolescent young people. Here are Schigymnasium and Schihandelsschule , the Gymnasium and Aufbaurealgymnasiums Meinhardinum and the Ecclesiastical College Edith Stein .

Also worth seeing is the orangery , which was refurbished in 2009 and now houses gastronomy and the abbey's monastery shop.
