Alpine Zoo Innsbruck

At the foot of the Nordkette, above the rooftops of Innsbruck, the provincial capital of Tyrol, is the alpine zoo, located at 750 m altitude.

On a little more than 4 ha, around 2,000 alpine animals of about 150 species are cared for in nature-oriented enclosures, terrariums and aquariums. No other zoo in the world displays such a complete collection of wild animals from the Alpine region. This is just one reason why a number of world breeding and remarkable breeding successes have succeeded here.

Detailed information on the entrance fees and the reduced group rates can be found here.
