PRIMAVERA - DOUBLE CONCERT

For the 100th anniversary of the Stadtmusik Landeck-Perjen, both Landeck town bands will be performing a double concert for the first time in the history of the Primavera concert! The Stadtmusikkapelle Landeck will present a groundbreaking masterpiece for symphonic wind orchestra: Johan de Meij's Symphony No. 1, "The Lord of the Rings". The Stadtmusik Landeck-Perjen provides the glamorous counterpoint. Their program bridges the gap between traditional wind music, Bernstein's classical brilliance and rousing jazz standards through to modern film music medleys.
