How we don't give up in hard times, but find new courage in everyday life.
We were not prepared for this: that war would break out in Europe, that the Western alliance would collapse, that right-wing extremists would win elections. It may be a long time before times get better again. What can we do? We need to get involved, but we also need ideas on how to get through these tough years. Mirjam Zadoff makes a few suggestions: We remain human, show solidarity with the weaker, forge unusual alliances, open our doors and finally read Hannah Arendt's books. There are endless ways to stay awake and still lead a good life. Let's get started!
