A composer is a guy who goes around forcing his will on unsuspecting air molecules, often with the assistance of unsuspecting musicians.
Under this motto, guitarist Valentin Goidinger and bassist Alexander Matheis are the brains behind their new project "GMC". Supported by their "unsuspecting" musicians, they form a 13-piece band that transforms the duo's written compositions into audible music.
The Tyrolean and the Upper Austrian got to know each other during their studies at the Anton Bruckner University and are now going their own way with the "GMC" in search of a common sound. They are supported by a colorful ensemble whose composition lies somewhere between rock band, string quartet and big band.
