Song symposium with poetry from the Terra Raetica to be heard on September 27 at 7:30 pm in the Stadtsaal in Landeck
The Terra Raetica has produced unique personalities in the art of poetry who have made a significant contribution to regional literature and significantly shaped the cultural heritage of Tyrol. On behalf of HORIZONTE Landeck, students of the composition class will set selected poems to music, which will be performed by students of the song class in combination with existing song settings.
The linguistic richness of the Terra Raetica is expressed through Rhaeto-Romanic, Italian and Yenish poets.
The poet Anna Maria Achenrainer (1909-1972), who was born in Pfunds and whose poetry collection
"Horizons of Hope" is the title of the evening. Her literary legacy is characterized by her deep connection with
her Alpine homeland and was honored with a recognition award from the state of Austria and the Tyrolean Cross of Merit.
