On October 25, the HORIZONTE will embark on a seductive journey of sound made of glass. The Viennese glass harmonica duo will perform together with soprano Annina Wachter at 19:30 in the auditorium of Landeck Grammar School
We take you on a seductive journey through the sounds of glass. Fascinated by the sound of glass, Christa and Gerald Schönfeldinger founded their duo in the early 1990s and are now among the world's leading performers on the glass harmonica and the verrophone. The combination of the glass harmonica with the virtuoso coloratura of the up-and-coming Tyrolean soprano Annina Wachter creates a unique, touching dialogue.
Why is this instrument not known, why has it been forgotten? Whether Vienna or London, Rome or Helsinki, the concert
concert venues change, the reactions remain the same: astonished eyes and ears. The duo was not only able to take the
techniques to a new level, but also the practice of playing this rare instrument,
