Exhibition "The Rust Brush" at Landeck Castle

"The Rust Brush" is the title under which the artist Stefan Rizk exhibits his works at Landeck Castle. Exhibition daily from 10:00 to 17:00

Born in 1968 in Innsbruck. From the beginning he chose as a substrate for his paintings rusted or oxidized steel plates. Hence the name "rust brush".

To this he was inspired by the sight of a rusty iron plate, which was leaning against an old wooden shovel. The color contrast has fascinated and touched him at all times of the year in a very special way.

Whether the fresh green in spring, the rich yellow in summer, the different shades of brown in autumn or the white in winter, which was never just white - each time it seemed as if the colors of the surroundings danced with the rusty plate and eventually merged.
