The Tiroler Edle is a special chocolate made from milk from Tyrolean gray cattle. The Tyrolean gray cattle spend their summer freshness on the steep alpine slopes of the Venet panoramic mountain.
Local farmers have rediscovered their love for the old tough breed; the animals are frugal and good climbers. Chocolatier Hansjörg Haag has lifted the fine alpine milk into the gourmet's heaven with a keen sense. He enriches his creations exclusively with regional ingredients, such as cranberries, brandy or mountain mint from the Venet.
After the ascent with the Venetbahn (ticket not included), the Venet circular route takes you through blooming alpine meadows, in the middle of the wonderful mountain panorama to the Gogles Alm there also chocolate to buy). After a little refreshment, the hike takes a detour into Piller Moor to the Kaunergrat Nature Park House. If time permits, we stop at the nature park house.
