KEIN SCHÖNER LAND, an anti-war drama by Felix Mitterer, in a new production as a multi-media theater reading with live music at the original location of the plot in St. Anton am Arlberg
The story of the tourism pioneer ING. RUDOLF GOMPERZ and his persecution under National Socialism unfolds in a multi-layered interplay of audio soundscapes, image projections and live music by HARRY TRIENDL, complemented by an intro by PETER WOLF and cello sounds by PETER POLZER.
On stage you will experience the players of the ARLBERGER KULTURTAGE: DANIELA BERGER, HARTWIG LADNER, KATHARINA SPISS and PEPPI SPISS.
The performance will be complemented by the painting cycle ZWÖLF BILDER by the artist PEPPI SPISS and accompanied by the installation RAUM DER ERINNERUNG by LISA KRABICHLER.
The focus of this year's ARLBERGER KULTURTAGE cultural summer is thus a drama about opportunism, cowardice, followership, self-interest and political blindness in the Third Reich - and about the fear of the foreign and the other that is still effective today.
