Josef Pfandler: missing - forgotten - rediscovered - saved. Exhibition daily from July 9th to September 4th, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Landeck Castle
The artist Joseph Pfandler was born in Niedergallmigg in 1824. Little is known of his childhood. At the age of 25 he moved to Munich because he had a job as an intern at the polytechnic school in the subject of freehand drawing. He later studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich.
