Theater "Die Reiche Lisbeth" in Elbigenalp _ Geierwally open-air stage

Built directly into the striking rocks of the Elbigenalp Bernhardstal Gorge, the impressive scenery of the Geierwally open-air stage attracts numerous visitors to Elbigenalp year after year. As early as 1990, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Anna Stainer-Knittel, the foundation stone for the construction of the stage was laid with the decision of the then tourism association. The stage was dedicated to the very artist who founded the myth of the Geierwally with her well-known picture of the eagle. Performances take place weekly on Fridays and Saturdays.
