The approximately two-kilometre-long practice trail in Obsteig runs as a flat circuit on the edge of the village and can be skied in both classic and skating style. The start and finish are right by the car park at the municipal office. The route is particularly suitable for beginners and anyone who wants to hone their technique in a quiet environment. Thanks to the clear route, it is ideal for first cross-country skiing experiences and relaxed training sessions. If there is enough snow, the trail is regularly groomed and is easy to reach thanks to its central location.

Public transport:Bus 350 or 355 - stop "Obsteig Gemeindeamt" www.vvt.at 
Parking:You reach the starting point via the Inntal valley. At Telfs or Mötz you drive onto the Mieminger Plateau and on to Obsteig. Here you can park your car in the free car park behind the municipal office/tourism information. It is then only a few metres to the start. Alternatively, you can continue to the car park at Arzkasten (for a fee) and enter the trail directly there.
