Phil Omenen Chapel

East of the town center and southeast of Bidenegg Castle, the Philomenen Chapel stands on an open hilltop with a beautiful view of the Inn Valley.

The Philomena Chapel acquired its current appearance following a complete renovation between 2006 and 2008.
In addition to the Holy Cross, it is dedicated to the Roman virgin and martyr Philomena, who enjoyed great popularity after her remains were discovered in the Catacombs of Priscilla in Rome.
