Schloss Biedenegg - Holiday in the holidayregion TirolWest

Abschnitt_1

Schloss Biedenegg

Welcome to Schloss Biedenegg!

The castle complex had its first documentary mention in 1339. It was accessible to a castle relatively unprotected from a moderately rising slope. Striking are the twelve 1.5 meter high swallowtail battlements, which crown the keep and were only recently brought into this shape. In 1546 Hans Trautson acquired the castle. In the 16th century, the complex was rebuilt and has essentially retained its appearance to this day. The completely preserved castle from the Middle Ages has a wonderfully quiet location with breathtaking views of the mountain and valley. Biedenegg Castle is now privately owned.
