Arrival by car

Whatever direction you are coming from as a holidaymaker: TirolWest is easily accessible by car on many routes. Whether the journey takes you via main roads, mountain passes or the highway - great views of the majestic mountains are included.

If the route takes you along freeways, a vignette must first be affixed to the windshield of the car. The automobile clubs, petrol stations and border crossing stations always have these available for purchase. A 10-day vignette is suitable for short breaks. For longer or more frequent visits to Tyrol, the 2-month or annual vignette is worthwhile. The vignette gives drivers free travel on their journey.
