Alpine pasture

Aifner Alm (1.980m)

Open!

The Aifner Alm is located at 1.980m above sea level and is a beautiful, original alpine pasture.

The Aifner Alm is an alpine pasture that is only managed in summer and offers a great view of the Kaunergrat Nature Park. The Aifner Alm can be reached via a beautiful, signposted path from the Kaunergrat Nature Park House in around 1.5 hours. You can either walk along the forest path or repeatedly hike through the forest on somewhat steeper paths. This hike can also be done very well in winter with snowshoes, snowshoes are particularly recommended when there is fresh snow.
