Zams - Lahnbach - Krahberg

Along the Way of St. James up to Rifenal, then on to Lahnbach and over the ski hut to Krahberg.

From the village center (Gasthof Gemse) you walk on the paved Zammerberg road to the southeast. You pass the hamlets of Anreit, Rifenal and Schweighof. After about 1 hour - at the beginning of the hamlet Lahnbach - branches off to the right a cart path. Follow this partly steep path. After another half hour, the road forks forks. Left straight, it goes over a stream and continue to Meranzer Alm. The path turns at an acute angle to the right and always leads uphill. After another hour, the Schütte Zams is on the bottom right. Past a narrow path leads steeply uphill. After another 1.5 hours you reach the summit of the Krahberg.
