Landeck - Glanderspitze (Erzherzog-Eugen-Weg)

The ascent over the so-called Archduke Eugen Weg lets you forget the effort of seeing the unforgettable mountain panorama, with striking peaks such as Wildspitze, Zugspitze, Ortler, Valluga, Riffler, Parseier and many more.

From the Landeck parish church, walk past Landeck Castle and up into the castle forest in many hairpin bends. After about half an hour, turn right and follow hiking trail no. 5.
Continue over the "Fließer Platte", at the chapel turn right onto a narrow path. After another hour, you come up to the Plamun meadows via St. Georgen.
Hike to the eastern end of the meadows, follow a wide path up through the Bannwald forest and cross the double chairlift on the south side of the Krahberg. Here above the forest line, the trail is easy to see across the southern slope and then along the ridge.
