Flathalm - Flathsee

Beautiful hike from the Falthalm to the Flathsee lake with breathtaking views of the Lechtal Alps. The way back leads over the Zirmegg with a marvellous view of the Landeck valley basin.

The ascent (650 metres uphill) from Flathalm to Flathsee is always worthwhile. After the strenuous ascent, you can enjoy a marvellous view of the surrounding area and feel the energy of the ‘power place’ as a reward. The descent from Flathsee to the chapel at Zirmegg and on to Flathalm rewards you with a magnificent view of the Landeck-Zams basin and - on a clear day - as far as the Zugspitze. Please note that this trail leads over boulders for approx. 500 metres and requires surefootedness.
