Zammer Alm / Schihütte Zams - Bettlersteig - Meranz Alm

This hike leads from the Zammer Alm / Schihütte Zams via the Bettlersteig to the Meranz Alm. You return to the Zammer Alm via the Lärchensteig and Tobi's adventure trail.

From the Zammer Alm, hike to the reservoir and join the Bettlersteig trail. At the end of the Bettlersteig trail, turn right and hike along the forest path up to the Meranz Alm, where you can take a break and enjoy a hearty alpine snack. From the Meranz Alm, continue along the Lärchensteig trail in the direction of Krahberg to the pond, where you join Tobi's adventure trail. This leads back down to the Zammer Alm.

Hiking & mountain tour: Meranz Alm 1 915m

The Meranz Alm (1,915 m) can be reached from the Venetbahn mountain station via the Lärchensteig in approx. 1 hour. It can be reached from the Rifenalbahn mountain station or from the Zammer Alm / Zams ski hut via the Bettlersteig in approx. 1.5 hours.

Along the European long-distance hiking trail E5, you hike from the valley station of the Venetbahn cable car through forests and flowering meadows, partly along the ski piste to the Zammer Alm / Zammer Schihütte and from there up to the mountain station of the Venetbahn cable car on the Krahberg.
