With the Nature Park House on the Piller Saddle, an important building block was created in the offer for wheelchair users in the Kaunergrat Nature Park. The saddle location also gives less experienced and conditionally weaker people the opportunity to experience the special charms of the environment.
Accessible Piller Moor
On a circular hike (approx. 2.5 km in length), you can learn about moor formation, moor vegetation and peat cutting on display boards. The theme trail can be hiked in about 1.5 hours, depending on your interests. From the moor tower you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. Starting this summer, people with walking disabilities can experience the moor barrier-free via new footbridges. For wheelchair users Swiss Tracks (tractors) are available for rent in the nature park house!
